- Description
Brest Brittany Airport (French: Aeroport de Brest Brittany) (IATA: BES, ICAO: LFRB), formerly known as Brest Guipavas Airport, is an airport serving the French city of Brest. It is located in the commune of Guipavas and 10.2km (6.4 miles) northeast of Brest, within the departement of Finistere.
Though the main operator is Air France (and subsidiaries Brit Air and Regional), serving for the most part Paris and Lyon, other scheduled services are offered to the UK, mainly by Flybe. The aggressive efforts conducted by the Chamber of Commerce allowed the airport to grow dramatically over the past decade thanks to charter airlines.
