Brittany Ferries operates a daily route between Plymouth (England) and Roscoff (about 55km to Brest). The crossing takes about six hours. There are also regular crossings between Roscoff and Cork (Ireland) in about 13h30 and Rosslare (Ireland) in in about 17h30.
Roscoff is a small ferry port that makes the perfect gateway to the delights of Brittany in France. The main routes converge nearby for easy access to the rest of France.
Roscoff as a port that was opened in 1973 in an attempt to help the Breton economy. Ships go to both Plymouth and Cork in Ireland, which allows tourists to go there but also encourages trade to happen between the more traditional celtic nations of Ireland, Southwest England and Brittany.

The ferry terminal is quite limited in its range of facilities, though passengers will find vending machines with hot and cold refreshments as well as a small store. Onboard facilities are excellent, with a wide variety of food and beverage outlets available, as well as excellent entertainment amenities.
Provisions for those with disabilities include good wheelchair access throughout the port terminal, with specially adapted washrooms provided. Passengers should advise their ferry company of any special needs that they may have soon enough before travelling.

By Car From the south (Quimper and Brest) use the D69 road to arrive to Roscoff. From the West use (Rennes) use the N12 road then take the N58 road at Morlaix. From Paris take the E50 to Morlaix and then the N58 to the port. Good toll-free highways lead to all parts of Brittany, or further south into western France.
By Rail
Roscoff Ferry Port is well connected to the main railway lines of Corsica, two train companies operate out of the Roscoff train station, with connections to all parts of the island.
