The luggage service of Deutsche Bahn allows passengers to travel without having to look after their luggage the whole time.
Your luggage can be sent from door to door in Germany (airport, hotel or home address) with a specialized luggage service. Otherwise, you can travel with your pets and lots of luggage. It's a delight!On board: ICE has luggage areas for your bags next to your seat, overhead and at each end of your car for bigger bags. You should label them with your name and address.
Luggage trolleys can be found at key points near stations and platforms. They are free to use but you might need a 1 Euro coin to access them... returned when you're finished.In local trains you can take your bike with you. You'll need a bicycle reservation as well as a bicycle ticket which you can do when purchasing your own ticket. You can use these within the German transport system.

- Pets onboard
Passengers can bring small dogs (e.g. the size of a domestic cat and smaller) free of charge if using a carrier for transportation. If your dog cannot be transported in a carrier, you simply need to buy a half-price ticket, so it can travel by train.
