You can generally book an Intercity ticket up to 90 days before departure. The cheapest fares are those booked as early as possible for travel at less frequented times: Mondays through Thursday and Saturday.

2nd class offers you a convenient way to travel. If you like to read or work during your journey, opting for 1st class will ensure you a more comfortable and often quieter environment.
- Mobility access
Contact SNCB (Belgian National Train Network) for free assistance if you have difficulties travelling alone. We can also assist you on board the train or, if you prefer to be accompanied and you have the "Free Carer" card, your carer can travel with you for free.
- Luggage
Free for carry-on cases, backpacks, suitcases. Maximum of 3 items per passenger (total weight < 30kg). Must be stored in the overhead space or below your seat. Also free for luggage such as: automatic or user-controlled wheelchairs, prams, folding bikes, unicycles, scooters, sports equipment (e.g. skis).
Bikes, tandems and trailers on the train: In addition to your train ticket, a single-journey Bike Card for 5€ or a day pass: unlimited travel anywhere in Belgium for 8€.
Some stations have automatic or manual luggage storage
- Lost & Found
If you have lost something, we will look for you. The search for your lost object starts as soon as you report it missing.
Object found: You'll be notified immediately and your object can be retrieved at the station. When you pick it up you will be asked to pay a fixed sum of € 5.
Object not found within 50 days: You'll be notified that your object still cannot be found and that the search has been cancelled. - Food, Snacks & Drinks
No food or drink are available on Intercity trains. You are welcome to bring your own.
- Pets onboard
You can bring your dog/cat on board the train. Free for a small animals carried in a bag or basket (max. 55cm x 30cm x 30cm). Free for a guide dog or assistance dog. About 2€+ for a larger animal on a lead with the Pets Ticket.
